The husband’s attorney used the ‘alienation of affection’ clause in the law, and pursued the case. The man was awarded compensation for the loss of his wife’s affection.

In another story, China is considering firing those officials who maintain mistresses.http://www.thenewsvault.com/cgi/xtra.pl?go=11833740634 The Chinese public get upset at officials having mistresses. What would happen if this kind of policy were instituted in other nations? Perhaps the public needs to be less accommodating in accepting infidelity?
