One of the relationships that is high risk for affairs is when there is a power difference between the parties. In such cases, the powerful position often abuses their influence. The inferior positions often holds the other in high regard and with a sense of awe. These feelings of respect often get confused with feelings of arousal and affairs can develop.

In this case, the school teacher was having illicit relations with a student. During their times of passion, the student would respond with “Yes Sir”, which immediately put off the infidel. The old expression first uttered by Moses holds true, “Be sure your sins will find you out.” In this case, the teacher was reminded of his abuse of position.
