I came across this website on film. The article mentions how many films coming out now have adultery as part of the focus. It was surprising that so many have that theme. What I found helpful was a table she included that showed graphically the extent that adultery is in the films in the New York film festival.

The chart was fascinating. It also shows that infidelity is a major concern for many people. It is a struggle that many people are involved in. If infidelity was really acceptable,there would not e the struggles with it that are seen.
