Struggling through an affair can turn a joyous season into a living nightmare. All the reminders of previous Christmas celebrations seem to add to the pain of what happened. It is easy to become overwhelmed in the pain of “what you lost”.  To maintain your sanity and composure, you will need to create new meanings for the holidays. You many consider doing some volunteer work, being a part of the church Christmas program or helping other people out as part of your ‘new’ holiday tradition. No one can replace the holidays you have lost, but you can make changes to create a new holiday tradition. The Christmas season provides opportunities to remake and renew yourself. You can make it through the holidays with your emotions intact.

Best Regards,
