Knowing the essential facts

Rumors and affairs go together like peanut butter and jelly. Each leave you with a sticky mess that is even messier and stickier with the more ingredients you add. When you hear rumors about your spouse having an affair, you will want to find out the facts BEFORE making hasty choices. Making choices before you have the facts can lead to you solving the wrong problems. Your hasty choice will solve something, but it may not be the problem you assumed it was solving.

So how many facts are enough? You may never obtain all the facts, so you will need to limit it to the essential facts. Did they meet at a hotel room? Did the cheater call the lover? Did the cheater text the lover? (Knowing the details about what happened in the hotel, what the conversations were about, or what they texted to them are not the main items to find out. I know that there is a voyeuristic tendency to know all you can find out. You will need to resist that urge. What you need to know are the essential facts.)

I cover more information on what to talk about with the cheater in my e-book on surviving your partners affair.

Best Regards,

Jeffrey Murrah
