The year 2016 was certainly filled with it’s share of drama and intrigue. In previous years, I compiled a list of the top 10 affair related news items from the previous year. It’s been a while since I’ve done that so it’s past time to do so again.

My checklist of the top 10 affair related news items is (in no particular order). I included some politicians not because of their politics, but rather because their situations and behavior brought attention to the issue of affairs and led to discussions about important topics:

  1. The infidelity in the Dugger family and how his wife continued working with him in overcoming it.
  2. Anthony Wiener’s sexual addiction escapades including his sexting
  3. Ozzy Osbourne’s sexual addiction
  4. The deaths of Florence Henderson and David Bowie, who were both known for their sexual indiscretions.
  5. The report claiming that eye color is a determinant for infidelity
  6. The controversies surrounding Hillary about Bill’s infidelity.
  7. Rudy Giuliani claiming that “everyone does it” when it comes to infidelity
  8. Beyonce’s song about infidelity, ‘Lemonade’ and the public’s response to it.
  9. The massive rapes occurring in Europe on New Year’s Eve and the German government’s response to it.
  10. Mohammed Ali’s death and the story of his wives forgiving his infidelities

I’m still not sure what to make of everything that came out. 2016 certainly was a year where infidelity was in the news. I see that six of them deal with the risks of Affair Relapse.  I welcome hearing if you have a different list of top 10 infidelity news stories.
