In a recent press release by Wilson Research Strategies, 52% of the respondents believed that Congressional representatives have had extra-marital relations. The release states that they believe at least 100 of the 535 members of Congress have had affairs. Although the study only looked at 800 persons who where likely to vote in the upcoming election, the results indicate that many people do not consider 1/5 of the Congressional representatives as having high moral standards. During these times when the approval ratings of Congress has been low, the rampant scandal of affairs is not helping matters.
