A book that has come to my attention that deals with financial matters that often accompanies affairs is Money Drunk and Money Sober. The book lays out a 90 day program to turn the situation around. The authors understand that close association between addictions and money difficulties. If you have addictions or money problems, this is a potential helpful resource.

One of the things that astounds me in dealing with affairs is the large number of businesses on both sides of the infidelity issue. There are companies that find infidels and companies that hide infidels. There is even a new female law firm (Fetman, Garland & Associates, Ltd.) in Chicago that advertises, “Life’s Short. Get a Divorce“. (Editor: The law firm has caught some significant flack for the ad along with some behaviors of the attorneys. The reactions have been felt even in Canada.) Whatever position a person takes, there are companies to support that position. For myself, I use commandment #7 of the Ten Commandments for guidance (Thous shalt not commit adultery). I had always heard rumors of companies that made alibis for the infidels but did not know that they actually existed. I know that years ago there was a Men’s club in the Houston area (Rick’s) that offered their patrons the choice of which credit card stamp they wanted on their bill. This hid the true nature of their expenses to throw off nosy spouses and business accountants that questioned expenses. In working with local couples, I have also become aware of restaurants that will offer alibis to questioning spouses of their patrons.
What this tells me is that it is not beyond businesses or third parties to lie and cover the tracks of the infidel. You may have to trust your gut and believe your eyes rather than swallow what they are telling you.

There is a home test for infidelity. I have not used it and do not know if it works. I am mentioning it to let you know that such a resource exists. This is not an endorsement, but merely passing on the existence of such a product. It is called Check-Mate. It is available through the site and also through Amazon.com . It allows you to check for activity by testing the clothing of your spouse.
