### Are you dealing with infidelity? Get help today from a professional counselor.

Sometimes, you need a little understanding. When the demons are at their worst, when you’re too exhausted to go any further, or when your fears creep out of the shadows, it’s hard to know how to move forward.

You don’t always have to be strong and brave all on your own; sometimes, talking about what is going on can help make things clearer for us so that we understand the next steps better in our lives. Telephone counseling has been shown as an excellent method of getting help where needed. According to a Journal of Counseling Psychology study findings, 68% of respondents felt very satisfied after using phone therapy services, and 53% reported feeling better after as few as one phone session!

Phone counseling is convenient and confidential. You don’t have to allow for travel time, leave the office, or hire a babysitter. Phone counseling occurs behind closed doors. It’s up to you where that door is located.

## About Your Counselor

My name is Jeffrey D. Murrah, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor.

As a teenager, I experienced firsthand how infidelity devastates families. When my family fragmented in the wake of an affair, it triggered a series of bitter fighting, secrets, and inner turmoil that rippled through the extended family, community, and church.

The ‘*hurt that never stops hurting*‘ in the form of the affair, subsequent divorce, and remarriages of my parents quickly poisoned the joy of each holiday, birthday, and accomplishment.

My journey took me through episodes involving children’s protective services, domestic abuse, spying, legal fights, and secret-keeping. The ugly episode continued getting uglier over the years, with threats of murder and attempted suicides within the family. I wrestled with the inner and outer struggles that each of these issues brought with them.

For the past three decades, I’ve specialized in helping couples overcome the devastating effects of extramarital affairs at my family and couples counseling practice. I bring personal experience and research together to help families navigate through their crises.

I feel truly blessed to have been able to help thousands of couples go from absolute hopelessness and the brink of divorce to healing, trust, and renewed intimacy.
