I came across a website that covers the various indiscretions conducted by the commander in chief. Some of them I had not been aware of. I think you will find the article informative and thought provoking. It is not surprising that people in positions of power often misuse their influence and it gets sexualized. Once sexualized, the likelihood of an affair is very high. This is a common occurrence with high powered executives and politicians. The only strange aspect is that when politicians develop sexual addictions, they often involve S&M.
