You may feel that you are standing up against a tidal wave by wanting a marriage where you are 100% committed to your spouse and they are 100% committed to you. In many places around the world, there are cultures filled with whores and whore mongers. Trying to maintain your marriage in such a culture is tough enough, trying to take someone who had lived in that culture and turn them into a committed spouse is even tougher.
The founder of the Salvation Army once said that “You can’t get the man out of the gutter until you get the gutter out of the man”. When this is applied to cheaters, you can not get the whoring (or whore mongering) out of their behavior until you get it out of their hearts. When society is filled with such a mindset, that mindset, like unwanted fleas or bedbugs, often spreads and infests every household they come across. Fleas and bedbugs require pesticides, while whoring and whore chasing requires a change in heart. I have found that it requires a change in heart for both the person infected and their spouse. I say the spouse, since tolerating the behavior is often viewed by the cheater as condoning it.
The place to start making a change is in your home, the time to start is now. You need to start by committing in your heart to love your spouse and refuse accepting their cheating. You will need to quite turning a blind eye to their cheating thinking, along with them dressing like and acting like a cheater. They need your love, yet love does not mean condoning such behavior. You can love them and confront the behaviors and attitudes.

Thank you for your kind comments. There are many facets of affairs that need to be ‘in the light’. The old saying that “men love darkness rather than light” fits here. Many would rather continue with darkened understanding, loss of direction and being confused on matters concerning this aspect (whores and whore mongering) than discuss it openly, since an open discussion would mean they would have to give up their ‘pet’ habits.
