One of the more recent myths is the ones concerning the ‘older’ woman who is an easy mark. Granted, such people exists, the myth concerns how they only want some fun, with no strings or commitments. By human nature, we want commitments and security. When we find a good thing, we want to continue it. Such myths have men looking for these elusive women which do not exist, except in Hollywood movies or television shows.
Myths such as these feed fantasies. When the fantasies are fed, men become ungrateful for what they have and look for greener pastures elsewhere. The cougar is just the latest myth fueling infidelities.
