Although spouses hate the act of adultery, they often forget that the adulterer is often a kind, caring person. It is easy to portray them and people lacking any self-control or redeeming qualities. There are some that have few redeeming qualities, but for the most part, they are kind, sensitive people who have made some poor choices. They are loving fathers and mothers who made some bad choices. They still need your love and acceptance. They need reassurance that they are loved and valued, rather than face ridicule and constant condemnation of their actions.
