Family gatherings can provide you with a wealth of information if you know what to look for. Observe the interactions between family members and see how they handle conflicts and secrets. In watching the family of your spouse, you may pick up clues as to their patterns of interaction. Since children learn many things in their families, when you observe your spouse’s family, you can glean insights as to the games your cheating spouse is engaging in.
Notice what topics are brought up. Who talks first? Who controls the conversation? How do they control it? How do they steer the conversation from unwanted topics? Finding the answer to such questions can provide you with clues on how your spouse interacts. Many times there are truths right in front of you if you are willing to notice what you are seeing. Cheaters often revert to a child-like state around their parents which also provides insights. Are they more intimidated by their mother or their father? Who do they keep their distance from?
