Does your pastor promote affairs?

As outrageous as it sounds, many ministers and pastors, including yours may be promoting affairs. With many of them, they may not even be aware that they are doing so. From the pulpit they may preach against infidelity, yet in their lives, they role model just the opposite. When ministers go from church to church allegedly following the leading of the Lord, they are behaving like a serial adulterer going from lover to lover. They are often on the lookout for someone (in this case, some church congregations) with more money, younger and hipper. So with their feet, they go chasing after the bright, shiny things, yet from the pulpit tell you to live your life in another manner.

When you are faced with the double message of loyalty from the pulpit, yet infidelity from the role modeling of how they live, which one will you follow. Which message is preached the loudest? Often what is role modeled is the strongest message.Given that the non-verbal part of any communication is more powerful than the verbal portion, the gospel of “Seek ye out the will of God, which can be determined by what offers you more money, more youth, or more fun” is often what is taught. If you are fortunate enough to have a minister who values marriage and commitment to one spouse, one congregation and one church, consider yourself blessed.

Overcoming the massive societal madness about affairs will not happen until minister quit endorsing affairs with the way that they live.
