Affairs and Your Liver, Part II

The other day I mentioned the connection between affairs and your liver. I’d not considered that connection before this month, yet managed tripping over it and needed to explore it more.

Like being unable to see the forest for the trees, I didn’t see connections that were right in front of me.

Although I’ve shared that affairs impact your health, I haven’t taken a deep dive into all the details behind it. One organ impacted and at risk from affairs is your liver.

I’ve mentioned previously about the risk of STD’s. There are 20 types of STD’s. One of them, is the liver  disorder known as Hepatitis B. This disorder is capable of being transmitted sexually. Some forms of Hepatitis A are transmitted via unnatural sexual practices.

Who knew that some liver disorders were connected with diseases transmitted by affair partners? When was the last time you saw a Hollywood production promoting affairs that even mentioned the possibility of exposure to Hepatitis?

When was the last time someone on Oprah or in the Huffington Post alerted you to this danger in their reporting on affairs?

One of the weird things about the Hepatitis disorder is the strange relationship it has with STD’s (or the modern term, STI). It can be transmitted like STD’s and when you have Hepatitis you’re more vulnerable to other STD’s.

The bottom line is that affairs put you at risk for STD’s including the Hepatitis variety. With over 200 million people suffering from this disorder, you need to know about its’ connection with affairs.

If nothing else, when you consider that 200,000,000 are infected with it, how do you know that the lover or your cheating spouse are clean?

Given the importance of the liver in maintaining your health and removing toxins from your body, when it’s function is impaired, it’s a serious matter. Dysfunction in your liver starts chain reactions with health problems.

Not all hepatitis comes from sexual transmission, yet all affairs open up the risk of this happening. This is another reason for insisting the cheater be tested, along with refraining from intimacy until you are sure they are clear of any disease.

Like the old shampoo instructions of wash, rinse, repeat. You need your spouse to be tested, then repeat testing.

When you are serious of affair recovery, consider joining the support community at Restored Lifestyle. There you can discuss the issues and concerns that come with affairs. You’ll also have access to the recovery videos and material to help you on your journey.

Best Regards,

Jeff
