Although some affairs begin innocently, many don’t. There are many motives for having an affair. Some of the motives are innocent.
The lover may never have known that the adulterer was married. Although they did not know the marital status, the adulterer did. Even when affair do not have malicious intentions, the effects are devastating.
Affairs damage trust, and disrupt communication. The damage to trust often extends to relationships with family members, friends and associates as well. Although some families survive affairs, the impact of one occurring is associated with damage and hurt.
The damage from an affair is not only external, it is internal as well. Many times there scars carried on the heart and emotions that few ever see.
Although the motives of an affair do not include intentions of being a homewrecker, the outcome and results of the affair do wreck not only homes, but lives as well.
You may not have intended to be a homewrecker, yet what happened and was allowed to continue did wreck homes.
