One of the hard realities of affairs is that eventually something has to die. It may be the marriage, the affair, or even someones heart and emotions. Something will have to die. A big part of the reason for this is the nature of affairs. Although movies and television shows portray a picture that affairs are easy to start, people operate on that assumption. In many cases they are easy to start. The challenge is finding a way to end them. The attachments which are formed are real. Ending the affair and pulling apart from what once existed is often gut-wrenching. In some cases, the marriage and family are left behind, in other cases, it is the lover. Leaving any relationship where there was once life and vitality is difficult.
Before trying to have an affair and assume that it can happen without anyone’s feelings being hurt, you will need to think again. Consider that pain and loss go hand in hand with affairs as much as the passion and excitement are.
