I am livid…

When faced with the whole affair mess, you will get angry. Even though you might be a God fearing Christian, there are times that your anger demands release. You will find yourself using words and thinking things that you never thought possible. In the heat of the moment, many things are said and done. Although the emotional reaction is natural given the trauma of what you are faced with, you will need to choose your words and actions carefully.

Although you would not think your spouse would consider setting you up, under such circumstances, when too many things happen at once, it could be a set-up. Another danger is that your angry rage will be caught on tape or in a digital format. Many spouses have intentionally provoked incidents so that they can catch their partner in a rage and record for later use in court.

When you are provoked, consider holding off any dangerous acts until you are away from any potential ‘ambush’. It will save you hours of court time and police involvement. Many careers have been damaged or ruined by careless displays of anger related to affairs. Consider whether or not it is worth it. Ask yourself “Is having a fit worth the consequences?”

You will also want to avoid any alcohol or drugs when going to situations that are potentially inflammatory.
