Looking at what the cheater does

In dealing with cheaters, it is imperative that you look at their actions. They are often slick talkers who know what to say and when to say it. Their slick talking is part of how they ended up cheating. The lover fell for their talk. Instead of you falling prey to the lines they give their lover, look at their actions.

Look for signs that they have left their lover, rather than fall for the promises of what they plan to do.

Look for signs that they regret what they have done rather than fall for the talk of someone who was caught.

Look for signs that they are making changes rather than promising you the moon.
