Do you look forward to seeing your spouse?

Have you considered whether you look forward to seeing your spouse? When you dread them coming home and do not eagerly look forward to seeing them, they sense that. When someone does not look forward to seeing you, it has a way of deflating them. It dis-courages them. During a time that you want to be encouraging your spouse to want to be with you, it is counter-productive to dis-courage them. When you are filled with negative statements or fault-finding, it has a way of removing the joy of them being around you. Instead of such fault-finding, you may want to consider finding ways of looking forward to seeing them. When they sense that you want to be with them, they in turn will enjoy being with you. It may take some time, but encouragement is infectious, as is enthusiasm. When you are enthusiastic and upbeat at being with your spouse, they will feel drawn toward you rather than repelled by you.

If you have been looking for that certain ‘magic’, the answer may lie inside of you. It may be that you need to change the way that you approach them. When people are in hurting situations, such as hospitals, simple things like how you approach them can make all the difference. Likewise deciding that you will look forward to seeing your spouse can make all the difference as well.
