What can science teach you about affairs? There are some areas of science which have studied human behavior and ways of influencing people without them knowing it.
They have learned what works and what does not work. Science finds ways of manipulating people and things with a degree of reliability. Those who know the science behind seduction are potential threats to your marriage.
Whether you like it, there are forces at work to manipulate and control your behavior. These techniques are used by department stores, government agencies, the entertainment business, schools and some churches. These techniques work well enough for them to continue being used.
When it comes to human relationships, many of those techniques are used in seducing and manipulating you. They are used to manipulate what you buy at the grocery store, what products or services you purchase, what music you listen to and your behavior at sports events.
These same tools can be used in seducing you or your spouse into an affair. Whether chemicals, music, attention, hypnotic phrases or seductive talk, these tools have been proven effective.
They can be resisted, yet most people do not know how to resist such tools. Consider whether your spouse knows how to resist such tools when they are used on them.
What that means is that when you consider what the cheater did, you have to include the science of seduction. You may need to consider what degree they consciously chose to have the affair and to what degree they were seduced. Some lovers are mean seducers who exploit their victims with many powerful tools.
Rohypnol (GHB) or other chemical agents (ecstasy [MDMA], cocaine, etc.) are often used. These agents are powerful and potent.
At times chemical agents such as pheromones are sprayed or included in the perfume or after shave of the seducer. These drugs work on using chemical attraction forces to enhance the likelihood of seduction.
It worth noting that 40-70% of cocaine addicts are also sex addicts. The two go hand in hand more often than not. When you are dealing with a cocaine addict, chances are that they also have a sexual addiction as well.
There is also the old standby of alcohol. Use of alcohol often leads to a lowering of inhibitions, making any kind of seduction easier to occur. Although it may not be an honorable way of getting someone to sleep with you, many seducers do not ‘play by the rules’.
They play by “All is fair in love and war” and they often use any edge they can find to get your man or woman. Expecting them to be honorable or behave decently sets you up for a heartache.
There are also many seducers who use hypnosis, or Neuro-Lingusitic Programming type of techniques to enhance their seduction. These tools work on seducing the mind and emotions.
Weak minded or weak willed persons are an easy mark for a seducer using such tools and techniques on their victim.
There are also the many subliminal techniques used in music and speech that some seducers use to their advantage. This would include projection and mentally seducing their target.
When such tools are combined with humor the victim may find themselves compromising themselves before they know it. The late Bob Crane often used mental seduction techniques in fueling his sex addiction lifestyle.
The more you learn about the impact of such techniques and how to resist them, the better off you will be.
