When I was a child, there were times when all it took was a look or a signal from my parent’s eye to make me change what I was doing. Not every parent mastered this skill, although mine and a few others did. Whenever you were on the receiving in of ‘the look’, you immediately reacted.
I never thought much of those experiences until back in 2006, at a neuroscience conference. The memory resurfaced while listening to one of the presentations. Researchers are finding that it is not only possible to control behavior with a look of your eye, that even more activity is actually going on. They are finding that a look triggers a great deal of brain action.
The look of one person actually triggers activity in another person’s brain. This is how one generation often controls subsequent generations. This is how some parents control their children’s behaviors.
The ramifications of this when it comes to affairs is astounding. On hearing what researchers are finding, it hit me that ‘bedroom eyes’ are more powerful than I ever imagined. There are some lovers who really do trigger messages of seduction in other people’s minds.
Those lovers with bedroom eyes not only make connections with potential lovers with their eyes, they turn on brain networks and start a whole series of trigger actions. Think about that for a moment. One look really does start a domino effect of brain activity. Researchers are even finding out what actions are triggered in the left and right hemispheres of the brain.
Those looks actually control the emotions in the other person, which in this case is the potential cheater. Yes, I said “control”. The one giving the look takes charge of what begins unfolding. Once that emotional system is activated, it takes charge of any relationship decisions, including whether or not they connect or have an affair.
If you are like me, on thinking through these revelations, I thought “That is some scary stuff! Those science fiction comic books with androids shooting mind control beams from their eyes are the real thing.”
The good news is that you can do something about the android lovers with mind control beams. You can take steps at rewiring your spouse’s brain by making better and stronger connections with them. Yes, how you interact with your spouse changes the wiring of their brain making them either more vulnerable or less vulnerable to android lovers with mind control beams.
