Staying in an unhealthy relationship for the new year

By now you’ve been wished ‘Happy New Year’ more times than you care to count. Many of those telling you that don’t know about the pain and loneliness that you struggle with.

They don’t see those parts of your life that you hide from others. They don’t know about how you stay in a bad relationships as a way of avoiding loneliness.

Even though you know it’s not good for you or enjoyable, you’re willing to put up with it because it’s better than loneliness.

When faced with either loneliness or a bad relationship, you opt for staying in the bad relationship. You keep it going the way it is rather than change things.

It could be that the last time you tried changing things, it didn’t end well. So rather than try again, you choose to keep doing what you’ve been doing.

The problem is that loneliness will make you sick. Staying in your unhealthy relationship will make you sick as well. Your choice of staying in the unhealthy relationship amounts to wishing yourself a sick new year.

The affair is a sign that things aren’t healthy. Staying in the relationship without making any changes only keeps you locked into the unhealthy patterns.

You may not get sick right away, but the stress of being in an unhealthy relationship will eventually catch up to you.

The new year gives you the energy needed for making positive change in your relationship. Now is a great time for changing how things have been done. Instead of settling for being unhealthy, you can instead choose for making things better.

One of the best things you can do is work through the Affair Recovery Workshop. The affair may have been ended, yet the damage was never addressed, nor anything changed in your marriage.

I want you to download your copy of the workshop. You deserve a better marriage and a better year. Even though you deserve better, it could be that you’ve been stuck unhealthy patterns for so long, you don’t believe its possible or that you deserve better.

Use the new year to make new changes.

Keeping It Real,

Jeff
