Affair Trauma Reflections

If you missed the webinar on Affair Trauma, you missed some wonderful information! Those who attended received a load of information. In the webinar, many issues were addressed from where the craving for chocolate comes from to explanations of the various aches and pains that often accompany affair trauma.

Chocolate Therapy is only an emotional band aid for the real needs of your brain and nervous system. You may be one of those who have fallen prey to chocolate therapy and did not know why this happened.

Oftentimes the betrayed and their spouses do not understand affair trauma. They may think that their affair should have little to no effect on you. They may assume that it will impact you in a minor way. They may have fallen for the lie that affairs are normal and routine in many marriages. Following that line of logic, they may assume that an affair is something that you just need to ‘get over’.

Not only might they assume the position that you just need to ‘get over it’, they do not understand how the affair trauma impacts you physically, emotionally and mentally. They do not have a clue how it changes your ability to process information, how it adds stress to your physical health and leaves you hurting all over.

The cheater may have no idea of how devastated you are and think that all you need to do is get over it like any other loss in your life. They do not understand the depth of the hurt or the intensity. They may assume that it is “all in your head” and not a real problem.

They would be mistaken. In the webinar, the explanation of how trauma impacts the nervous system and brain made it clear that this is not something imagined. You are not malingering. There are reasons for why you obsess, why you crave chocolate and sweets, and why you have trouble processing information. There are reasons for this, which were laid out for the participants.

If you missed out, the Webinar will be available soon. If you have a spouse that does not understand affair trauma, or you do not fully understand affair trauma, you will want to take advantage of this webinar.

Best Regards,

Jeff
