Six Signs He’s a Bastard

There are times when reading emails that the pain of what the reader is enduring comes through loud and clear. Their choice of words and what they want answers to make it clear they’re going through some deep hurts.

When a wife posed the question “When is a husband being a bastard to his wife?”  Her question makes it clear that her husband’s clearly done something to hurt or alienate her.

Since the term ‘bastard’ is one of those terms often used by a wife when there’s been an extreme hurt, it deserves a closer examination. To make terms clear, I’ve gone ahead and put together Six signs He’s a  Bastard checklist.

For this checklist, he qualifies as a bastard with one item, yet the more items he does the bigger a bastard he is.

Six Signs He’s a Bastard

  1. He was born out of wedlock.
  2. He’s being dishonest or less than authentic with you in a MAJOR way such as a big financial swindle, back stabbing or blocking you.
  3. He’s fathered a child out of wedlock.
  4. He intentionally misled you or deceived you in a MAJOR way and throws you under the bus without any remorse.
  5. He refuses listening to any authority other than himself.
  6. He refuses honoring the marriage vows he made to you in a huge way.
  7. He intentionally hurts you in a way that hits you in an area you are vulnerable and causes intense suffering. This also includes intentionally damaging or destroying things that are important to you.

This list led to discussions with my wife about what constitutes calling your husband a bastard. I’ve included some dictionary definitions along with some modern applications of the term.

One of the items that was clear is that when you as a wife resort to calling your husband a ‘bastard’ you are expressing some intense emotional pain. It’s not a term used lightly.

If things are that desperate, there’s a high likelihood of some trauma going on. With that being the case, you’ll benefit from downloading the video on “Overcoming Affair Trauma”.

The informative video guides you through what trauma is and ways of dealing with it, so that you no longer have to suffer with it and endure the situation. You don’t have to suffer in silence any longer than you choose to.
