Building a closer bond takes effort, but it’s always worth it. The payoffs might not come overnight, but they will come. Personally, I strive to have the closest relationship possible with my wife, Peggy. It’s meant some uncomfortable moments and being vulnerable, but trust me, it’s been worth it.
So think about how you can get closer to your spouse, or allow them to get closer to you. Remember, removing any obstacles to closeness will bring you two closer together. And if you’re aiming for the best, not just better, it might take a few days and a few tries to take some risks. That’s okay! Some things take time and courage.
