Down the Rabbit Hole with Creepers

Creepy looking creature

You can learn a lot from watching nature. Once, when my family and I visited the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge, we saw the drama of a snake eating a small frog. The helpless cries from the frog being swallowed by the snake is what grabbed my attention. I felt helpless watching the snake take off with its recently captured prize.

The actions of the snake remind me of how creepers operate. Once they have a firm grasp after seducing their victims, they take them off and then down a sexual rabbit hole.

Creepers are goal-driven. They have definite goals in mind they persist in going after. When their victim’s guard is down or they are weak-minded, they become easy prey. The creeper takes charge and executes their plan. Their sheer audacity often overwhelms the unprepared.

I can only imagine the audacity of the snake when it first surprised the frog. It likely surprised the frog, suddenly emerging from its hiding place. When the frog realized what was going on, it was too late. One lesson we can learn from this interaction is the concept of prey and predator. The prey does not realize they are prey until it is too late.

By the time some spouses wake up to the true nature of a creeper that’s been hunting them down like prey, its too late.  Since creepers don’t reveal their true nature until they have their victim secured and seduced, they wake up too late. what good does screaming or asking for help do, when there is no one around to rescue them?

When given the opportunity, creepers take their victims deeper into sexual circles. The initial seduction was only the beginning. The creeper’s goal is not seduction, it is total control. They take their victim down a rabbit hole of sexual pleasure and exploitation. They introduce them to a new circle of people. It is no longer a matter of one creeper, at this point, the victim is facing a creeper mob. The sheer excitement of the intense feelings contains elements of excitement and revulsion that can overwhelm people and their morals.

When in the creepers grasp, the victim is so stimulated, that their moral codes and thinking are overloaded. They may not approve of what they are doing, but their ability to resist, say no or leave is overwhelming. The sensory overload gives the victim a total makeover.

The frog never escaped from the snake, but your spouse can be rescued from the creeper. There are things that you can do to prevent the likelihood of the creeper returning. Your spouse had to regain their senses and reset their nervous system. Despite the reset, they are vulnerable. You can reduce the risk with the video, “Preventing Affair Relapse “.

You can know ways of handling triggers, relapse warnings and other signs that they are vulnerable to another affair, even when they don’t want the affair.

Keeping It Real,

Jeff
