Recreational Sex

There are some cheaters who view sex, including sex outside of marriage as a form of recreation. Like exercise, they classify all sex as nothing more than an enjoyable workout. Even though they view sex this way, it does not change the other dimensions of their actions. If you want to work out, go to the gym. Sex is not a recreational work-out.

Issues like bonding and betrayal still have to be considered. Although many progressives attempt divorcing those concerns from sex, they can not be separated. Viewing sex as ‘recreation’ is akin to viewing sex as part of your profession. It amounts to having the heart of a whore regarding sex. when that kind of thinking takes over, sex becomes mechanical. The cheater is looking for the emotional/bio-chemical fireworks and does not care who it is with. At least that is what they tell you. The reality is that they do care who it is with, and are only attracted to particular people.

Recreational sex (an casual sex amounts to nothing more than what the old-timers referred to as “whorring around” or the spirit of whoredom. For men, it amounts to chasing whores. I still use the old term ‘whore dog’ which is descriptive of the animal-like, emotionally disengaged way of life that such thinking involves. Progressives are always trying to find new pleasant sounding words for old forms of wickedness and perversion. Whore dogging sounds harsh, because, it is. If instead of a swingers party, you called it a meeting of whore dogs in heat, it would not sound so enticing. Such terms take the politically correct glamour and appeal away.

So when your spouse starts talking about ‘recreational sex’ or talks about sex in a way that makes it nothing more than a ‘work out’ routine, there may be problems that need your attention.
