Although many cheaters want you to believe that the affair ‘just happened’. In most cases, the truth is very different. Prior to the affair happening, there is a ‘build-up’. The build-up is that time period when the cheater begins preparing themselves mentally, physically and emotionally for an affair to happen. The build-up is more than going to the wrong pub, night club or bar. The build-up involves them planning out what they will say and what their come backs will be. The build up includes putting out the emotional ‘welcome mat’ for the lover.
Although some lovers push their way past ‘no’ and ‘I’m not interested’. A great many only move where they are invited. They approach people that send signals that they are interested and willing to start something. When the cheater sends the signals, the lover, reads them. Like smoke signals sending messages across the miles, the signals alert the cheater to their openness to cheat.
You may see some of the signs of the affair build-up when the cheater begins taking better care of themselves and sprucing up more than usual. They dress and adorn themselves with scents that are sensual in nature. This is also part of the build-up. The build-up is also part of their denial system. They deny that they were looking for an affair, that it ‘just happened’. The build-up provides evidence contradicting that claim.
When you see the build-up, you need to recognize it and take action.
