When the Affair fog lifts…

In the cartoons you know when someone is thinking or comes up with an idea. A light bulb appearing beside their head let’s you know something is going on.  In real life, those light bulb moments aren’t as easy to see as the ones in the cartoons.

Although I don’t see literal light bulbs, there are signs and signals indicating people are having such moments. For example, someone asked the question “When the Affair fog lifts, is singing a good sign?”

On seeing questions like this, it’s clear that the questioner is having a light bulb moment. They aren’t only aware of the Affair Fog, they’re also seeing the connection with singing. Making such a connection lets me know they had one of those moments.

Singing is definitely a good sign when it comes to the affair fog lifting. The more spontaneous activity the better.

Signs like these indicate they are engaging with life rather than continuing a robot-like existence that comes with the fog.

There’s also a big difference between rote singing and spontaneous episodes of singing out loud with emotional expression. It’s like the difference between going through the motions and really getting into the singing.

Seeing someone come out of the fog is akin to seeing them come back to life.  They are able to communicate at a heart to heart level, they’re able to listen and connect in a meaningful way. They’re no longer just going through the motions.

The difference between the way they were and now are as striking as day and night. The once zombie like person is now alive again. They not only sing, they move differently, talk differently and are actually there with you.

If you’re dealing with someone whose in the zombie like affair fog, everyday interactions are executed with mechanical drone-like regularity. There are things you can do in dealing with such situations.

I address the fog in the ebook “Why He Cheats“. Inside you’ll find answers to many of the questions you’ve been asking about your situation, along with ways of dealing with them. Click and download your copy today.

Rather than wondering what’s wrong with them, you can instead have a clear idea of what’s going on and where you can start in dealing with it.

Keeping It Real,

Jeff
