‘After the Affair’ Resources

First, I want to thank each of you for visiting, reading and commenting on the blog. It is my hope that you find it helpful during the times of your struggle. I also want to thank those of you who have purchased the e-books I offer. Each has a different purpose and focus.

Picking Up The Pieces: Deals with taking you through the process of recovering from news of the affair until you decide what you want to do. This guide helps you know how to start talking with the cheater and repair the damaged trust and intimacy in the marriage.

Can I Trust You Again: Deals with the topic of trust, with more explanations and depth of what trust is and how to re-establish it in your marriage.

Why Wasn’t I Enough?: Deals with the most frequently asked questions about affairs. There are times when you have more questions than answers. This guide addresses the most popular questions asked about affairs from several sites and counseling situations.

Why He Cheats: This guide provides deeper answers concerning the thinking of cheaters, including the role of fantasy in affairs along with ways of dealing with such issues. It also explores the distorted thinking that is often seen in cheaters in order to help you understand what you are up against, and to aide you in helping your spouse through the temptations and challenges with the affair.

What the Bible Says About Adultery: This volume explores the situations in the Bible involving adultery and how the issues were dealt with. This one is part Bible study and part focused on adultery. This guide is more for those who have a Christian background or want to know what the Bible says on this topic.

Children & Affairs: This book deals with the topic of handling the affair and children. It covers young children, teens and adult children. Although the needs may be similar, how you approach them and deal with the affair differs. It also deals with divorce issues, Parent Alienation issues and information on helping children deal with angry parents and siblings.

Common Sense Parenting: This book is a general book on raising children. It does not deal directly with affairs. I have found that many parents are shaken in their confidence after an affair and often need a refresher on dealing with children.

Coming Soon is the e-book, “Is There Any Hope?”: This book deals with helping troubled marriages, including those where an affair is found out. It provides places for spouses to start making changes in order to turn their marriage around. It also includes information on dealing with narcissistic spouses and affairs in the military.

Best Regards,

Jeff Murrah
