Not only do neighbor affairs ruin relationships, it destroys your reputation. It also destroys any sense of security at home for your spouse.
Affairs with the neighbors make your business, the neighborhood’s business. It forces your family and others to take sides and leaves scars that don’t fade with time.
Your home is no longer a safe place for your spouse or family. Anytime you’re talking to someone on your street, it becomes a suspicious activity.
If you’re one of those who wants to get into your neighbor’s pants, consider what kind of ending it will have instead of your immediate gratification. You wouldn’t steal your neighbor’s lawn mower, so what makes you think that taking their spouse’s affections is acceptable?
